This instruction concerns all “examensarbeten ” conducted at IFM Biology. It is mainly intended for experimental and observational studies (empirical studies), but also literature reviews and theoretical projects, that often have a differing subdivision of the text (other headings, etc), should follow the below format as closely a possible. 1 Language Master theses must be written in English while “kandidatarbeten ” may be written in Swedish or English (the latter only after consultation with the supervisor). A Swedish report should be given both an English title and an English abstract. Use present tense when describing ”current knowledge ” and past tense when referring to your own work.
